Lane Haugh, soprano, is a native of Virginia and holds a B.A. in Music with a focus on music education and vocal performance from Virginia Tech as well as an M.M. in Vocal Performance from Florida State University. Lane has a diverse background in main stage performance, holding the roles of Patience (Patience, FSU), Calisto (Calisto, Red River Lyric Opera), Georges (Bagatelle, FSU Student Opera Society), and the Officer in Opera Roanoke’s production of Il barbiere di Siviglia. Additionally, Lane has participated in many scenes programs performing the roles of Dorine (Tartuffe, FSU Opera Workshop), Mélisande (Pelléas et Mélisande, Virginia Tech Opera Workshop), and Amy (Little Women, Druid City Opera Workshop). Lane’s vibrant personality helps breathe new life into the characters they play and they are passionate about sharing their performance experience with others, be it through voice lessons, piano coachings, or audition preparation. Lane currently resides in Tallahassee, Fl. where they hold the position of Assistant Education Director at LeMoyne Arts and teach voice and piano lessons for all skill levels and ages from their private studio.
