Florida Water Environment Association

Begun in 1941, the Florida Water Environment Association (FWEA) has more than 1,200 members and works to protect the environment through education programs, professional development and promotion of sound public policy. FWEA is also part of the Water Environment Federation, which is comprised of more than 36,000 water professionals around the world.  The Tallahassee area is served by the Big Bend Chapter of FWEA.
