The WordSmitten Book and Wine Club meets across from the historic Courthouse Square in Quincy, Florida in a fun and enjoyable discussion of books we love to read. The event is free and food and beverages are available. Our club members share the cost of appetizers, provided by Damfino's Cafe.
Recent selections include Song of Solomon, Toni Morrison's award-winning novel, Dispatches from Pluto, Richard Grant's book about moving from New York City to a Mississippi town (Pluto), and Jane Smiley's YA novel, A Good Horse. Upcoming selections include the Pulitzer Prize-winning book by Edward P. Jones (The Known World) and one of the nine novels by the legendary Tom Robbins (Even Cowgirls Get the Blues).
