Wiregrass Gallery Visiting Artist: Tammy Flagg

Born in 1958 in Thomasville, Georgia, Tammy Flagg began painting in 2012 after twenty-nine years as a banking officer. Having a deep love for art, a desire to paint, and a longing to experience something new, Tammy began attending art classes with Bev Birdwell in Vancouver, Washington, at her studio, Arts Desire. Since beginning her painting journey, Tammy has created numerous paintings in oil with a large variety of subjects. Her favorite activity is spending time at the beach, and most of Tammy’s paintings depict a relation to just that, the beach and boats!
