Wiregrass Gallery Emerging Student Artist: Macy Taylor

Currently attending Thomasville High School Scholars Academy, Macy Taylor’s paintings include everything from landscapes to buildings and landmarks from all parts of Georgia. The beautiful historical houses around Thomasville to the wonderful woodlands that tend to blend in after a while make Thomasville home to Macy, and she keeps that in mind when creating her work. Her paintings of Georgia scenery could easily be taken for granted as they become background in your everyday life, take your breath away, and make Georgia feel new again. Macy is proud to say that she has the distinction of AP Scholar and was awarded the 2022 Region One Business Communications winner for FBLA. Additionally, she is the Thomasville High School Orchestra’s first chair, first violin, and a member of the Miss Thomasville Court. She has also been in the top fifteen at Miss Georgia’s Outstanding Teen 2022.
