Wildlife Arts Festival | Public Art Unveiling

Thomasville Center for the Arts in partnership with the City of Thomasville will drive the initiative to install permanent contemporary art in the Bottom Creative District. The first installation, to be displayed in the Center’s UnVacant Lot, will be “Take Root,” a large metal tree sculpture designed in collaboration with FSU’s Interior Architecture + Design department and fabricated by Hurst Boiler’s engineers + welding artists. The Center will unveil the sculpture at the kickoff of our 28th annual Wildlife Arts Festival on November 9, 2023.
