Wild Florida Day

During the day, members of Conservation Florida, the Florida Wildlife Corridor Foundation and the Path of the Panther project will be at the Capitol on Plaza Level showcasing photographs by National Geographic Photographer Carlton Ward, Jr. and artwork by Paul Schulz.
At 7:00 p.m., Path of the Panther is hosting a free public screening of the new PBS documentary Saving the Florida Wildlife Corridor, at the Florida State Capitol Courtyard. This is the first film since the Florida Wildlife Corridor Act was passed that gives the public an opportunity to see the Florida Wildlife Corridor and understand why protecting it is vital to the future of Florida. Through the voices of farmers, fisherman, ranchers and conservationists, the film offers a glimpse into one of America’s most unique and complex conservation opportunities and highlights the need to collaborate to ensure its survival. Click this link to secure free tickets.
