Learn to throw on the wheel at a beginner’s level with artist Laurel Blackthorne!
Designed for beginner level students with introductory level experience with the pottery wheel. We will focus on mastering the foundational skill of throwing clean, even cylinders and expand into new forms such as bowls and plates. Students will also work on refining their trimming skills to ensure a clean and functional finished pot. Each class meeting will have a specific focus and students can expect to complete 8-10 pieces.
