Turtle Pond Painters Spring Art Show & Sale to Benefit ECCC

You’re invited to a special show and artists’ reception on Saturday, May 14th from 4-7 p.m. Enjoy beer, wine & light bites with the artists, and wander the gallery to view their latest paintings… you may just discover the perfect artwork for yourself or for someone else.  A portion of proceeds from the evening’s sales will benefit the Elder Care Community Council of Franklin County, a local non-profit that serves as a vital bridge connecting seniors to a community of support through meals and services for those in need, as well as social activities & educational programs.

The Turtle Pond Painters are: Bunnie Ison, Ed Springer, Holly Brown, Lynn Wilder, Pam Corcoran, Peg Brown and Tara Roberts.  They meet weekly to paint at Turtle Pond Farm in Apalachicola. Three accomplished guest artists who have led workshops for the group will also have paintings on display, including pastel painter, Barbara Noonan, and plein air painters, Cory Wright and Jeanette Herron. The show also features photographs from Creighton Brown who has his own unique take on Turtle Pond Farm.
