The Von Wamps with The Bird and The Bear

The much loved Von Wamps along with their friends, the fabulous duo The Bird & The Bear return to Cat Pointe Music for an afternoon of special original songs as well as some favorite covers. The Von Wamps are Lou and Lynn Wamp whose talents and artistry span classical, jazz, swing, and blues to bluegrass. Lou plays fiddle and dobro, while Lynn plays acoustic upright bass. They are both accomplished mandolin players and Lou was named one of the nation’s Top Dobro Players by “Guitar Journal” magazine.  The Bird and The Bear are a husband and wife Americana music duo.  Hailing from Wyoming and Holland, Garry Wood and Mirthe Bolhuis met, fell in love, started making music in Nashville, and didn’t look back!  The duo blends folk, bluegrass and pop music; resulting in a uniquely intimate performance.  All this adds up to an afternoon of fun and truly wonderful music. Don’t miss The Von Wamps with The Bird & The Bear at Cat Pointe Music on Sunday, February 16th at 3:00 pm.
