The Rusty Wright Band, Under the Oaks

The Rusty Wright Band brings its hot mix of Texas and Chicago blues, Americana and blues rock to the ol’ juke. While Rusty can sho’ nuff scorch the frets, he’s equally adept at backing it down with some string bendin’ blues and even some soulful gospel thrown in for good mix. Rusty, who now calls Winter Haven home , is backed up by a stellar band with his wife Laurie LaCross Wright joining in vocal duets, lead vocals, and harmonies with Rusty while playing some mean guitar chops and smooth rhythm guitar, with Billy Agner on bass guitar and Vail Hayes on drums rounding out the harmonies and rhythm section. This is some mighty fine, entertaining stuff.
