Join us for our first of many Artist Socials – Get to know local artists and engage in their artmaking process as well with demos and artwork on display in a super inspirational space! February focuses on Afircan American history and art… a huge part of our local culture. Join us for a unique, one-of-a kind friend-raiser event!· All proceeds will benefit this amazing non-profit organization!

DESCRIPTION:
Each event will feature 3+ local visual artists displaying their work for sale and/or doing a live demo of their artistry. The idea is to provide a space for
the arts community to gather and show off their work, and to introduce our space an concept to a new slice of the Tallahassee community. In fact, we can
use this to intentionally diversify our outreach. For the February event, we want to feature African American artists since Feb is Black History Month.

The artists will be asked to invite their supporters/guests, and we will of course invite our customers and friends as well. We will have live or recorded
music, wine and beer, light food, and charge a fee to attend.

There will be some brief programmatic portion of the events where we will introduce the concept of the Tree, describe our mission, invite support, and
also introduce and thank the guest artists.

COST: $10 per person
