Prof. Anthony Dixon discusses the relationship of Africans and Native Americans in the early history of Florida.

Funded in part by the Florida Humanities Council, this FREE presentation by Prof. Anthony Dixon is open to the public. "Florida has a relationship with African descendants unlike any other state. This relationship has had a direct impact on the growth of Florida. Throughout each period of Florida history there is a significant presence of the African diaspora.
