Award-winning young cellist Zlatomir Fung kicks off Thomasville Entertainment Foundation’s 2021-22 concert series.
The first American in four decades and youngest musician ever to win First Prize at the International Tchaikovsky Competition's Cello Division, Zlatomir Fung is poised to become one of the preeminent cellists of our time. Accompanied by pianist Benjamin Hochman, the 22-year-old cellist plans a program of works by Schumann, Schubert, Dvořák and Franck. Fung's performance in Thomasville comes seven days before his highly anticipated recital debut at New York's Carnegie Hall.
