TEF Presents Gil Shaham, violin, and Akira Eguchi, piano

The acclaimed violinist Gil Shaham pairs with pianist/composer Akira Eguchi in a February 16 program that incorporates works by Bach, Saint-Saëns, Kreisler and Franck. Named Instrumentalist of the Year by Musical America, Shaham wows audiences with both flawless technique and expressive warmth, a reputation honed since his debut at the age of ten with the Jerusalem Symphony. Eguchi regularly performs in the foremost music centers of the United States, Europe and the Far East, and his talents are showcased on 11 solo albums and more than 30 additional recordings in collaboration with other artists.
