Taste

​Taste is an art exhibition aimed at showcasing the human relationship with temptation; a feeling of desire to do something, especially something wrong or unwise. It lives within and all around us, often punctuating its pleasures with pain.
​The things that tempt us may rise from old wounds and fears; our inclinations are psychologically and narratively rich.In an average day we may itch to lash out at someone we love, to overindulge in escapism, to overspend, or to cling to toxic situations. The consequences of giving into unhealthy urges range from minor stress to life-consuming chaos. A thoroughexamination of our temptations is a necessary part of living well with them; this exhibition invites artists and viewers to do exactly that.
