Tallahassee Genealogical Society Monthly Meeting - Photograph and Document Imaging

Sandra Varry will discuss: The basics of imaging (digital images, scanners, cameras); Selecting software and hardware; Planning for imaging in archives; and Using scanning and reproduction services.

Ms. Varry is the Heritage Protocol & University Archivist at Florida State University where she collects, manages, and provides access to FSU’s archive and manages its Heritage Museum. She taught traditional and digital photography for 13 years before becoming a full time archivist.

The meeting will be held in Program Room A of the downtown public library, 200 W. Park Ave. Sharing time is at 1:30pm and the meeting starts at 2pm.
