Tallahassee Genealogical Society monthly meeting - Irish Genealogy

Get your passports ready – we are jumping the pond with this month’s topic! If you have already traced your Irish ancestor’s story back to his entry into these United States, now is the time to explore the history and circumstances that led to his emigration from Erin. You may have heard that Ireland is a “burned country” and no records exist. Fear not! Researching Irish records may be challenging, but is not impossible, as presenter Amy Hutson will explain. The meeting will be held in Program Room A of the downtown public library, 200 W. Park Ave. Sharing time is at 1:30pm and the meeting starts at 2pm.
