Tallahassee 1st Friday Sacred Harp Singing

Where: Quaker Meeting House, 2001 S. Magnolia Drive, Tallahassee

When: 7 – 9 p.m

Dates: 1st and 3rd Friday, every month

If you like “old-time” traditional music, you’ll enjoy the unique harmonies and a cappella singing [singing without accompaniment]. This is a singing experience rather than a rehearsal for a performance. We sing in an “open square” so we can all hear the blending of harmonies. 

We will be singing from The Sacred Harp: (Denson edition). The songbook varies by Friday singing.

The Quaker Meeting House is located at 2001 S. Magnolia Drive in Tallahassee. 

We usually sing for two hours with a break for refreshments. We are non-judgmental and warmly welcome new singers. Come, let us join our cheerful songs!
