Third Gentleman - Chrysanthemum Artist: Ann Kozeliski
SUMI-E is Japanese for ink “Sumi” and painting “e” The philosophy of Sumi-e is contrast and harmony – expressing simple beauty and elegance
This class will emphasize the Third Gentleman - Chrysanthemum . building off of the two previous "gentlemen" Bamboo and Wild Orchid. Combining Sumi-e ink with water control and brush pressure we will create this beautiful flower which you will see how it lends to creating all things Sumi-e. All participants will leave with at least one completed piece of work.
