“Floridingers” is the scientific term for the genus of an imaginary hybrid species that are made up of Floridian reptiles, mammals, birds, fish and insects. These new types of characters teach readers about the differences between species in an artistic and educational way that engages children and inspires them to develop their own Floridinger characters.
After the reading, there will be an art activity for the kiddos! Visit their website for more info about their book: https://www.floridingers.com/
Perdita Ross’s artwork for Floridingers is made from recycled cardboard paper and UV fluorescent paint. Perdita is also our featured artist of the month for October, so be sure to look for her items available in the store! She is known for her blacklight, 3D art.
