Midtown Reader's Story Slam series is an opportunity for local writers to share their work with our community of Tallahassee writers and readers. The theme for this month is “Unmasking." Writers should send in 600 words or less on the theme by October 26th at 6 p.m. to be considered to read at the event on November 2nd at 6:30 pm.

About Our Host:
Olivia Murphy Sokolowski is a writer and PhD candidate at Florida State University. She was born near Atlanta, received her undergraduate degree from Berry College, and her MFA in Poetry at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. She is currently at work on her first poetry manuscript.
In her off hours, you can find Olivia picking up dumbbells, sewing costumes, playing RPGs, or watching movies with her cats & her husband, the fiction writer Tom Sokolowski.
