Celebrate American Archives Month with the State Archives of Florida.
October is American Archives Month and we're celebrating with special events all month long. Join us October 17 for extended research room hours, behind-the-scenes tours, and a presentation titled "Florida Mermaid Tales" about how the combination of mythical creatures and Florida's natural environment were used to attract tourists. Presenters include author Lu Vickers, Photo Archivist Adam Watson and Archives Historian Kathryn Palmer.
