Shape Glaze Fire - Soft Opening & Artist Talk

The first of four events hosted by 621 Gallery and Tallahassee Clay Arts at 621 Gallery in October.  Be the first to see this exhibit before the First Friday Grand Opening and  hear select artists talk about their work.

• Amy Smoot is a ceramics instructor at University of Alabama
• Marty Fielding is a ceramics instructor at FSU
• Kate Piretti and Barbara Balzar are both local ceramic artists specializing in figurative sculpting

The main exhibit will be a wall filled with 100 mugs made by potters from Lafayette Arts and Crafts Center, FSU’s Ceraminoles Club and FSU’s Art Center.   The rest of the exhibit will showcase works by 30 local ceramic artists.  The mugs, pottery and sculpture featured in the show will be for sale.

The exhibit can be viewed Thursday – Sunday 1PM – 5PM starting October 3^rd.
