Native American history program, “Secrets of Byrd Hammock”, about fascinating discoveries and artifacts found at St. Marks Wildlife Refuge. Hear Sammy Tedder, musician and filmmaker, perform several songs using native type instruments.

Come join an engaging, free program about the secrets of early Native American communities found in this region.

Hear about fascinating artifacts and discoveries found at Byrd Hammock Mounds, part of St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge featuring Thadra Stanton, from Southeast Archeological Center. See artifacts from the Swift Creek and Weedon Island early native peoples found at these sites.
