The tradition continues … As Saudades, the Brazilian choro ensemble of FSU musicians and others join to create a fun musical event that everyone can enjoy.
Brazilian choro music is played in an informal setting by a number of musicians from FSU's World Music Ensembles program and others in the community. This is music that will make you think of samba, maybe bossa nova, Afro-Carib music, jazz, classical, even ragtime ... all play a part in this unique and captivating genre of music.
In Portuguese, Roda is pronounced "Hoda." If it doesn't make you want to dance, check your pulse.
