Remembering the Forgotten Coast: A Benefit for Mexico Beach small businesses

A Storytelling, Music, Poetry, and Photography Celebration featuring musical duo Hot Tamale, stories of survival about Hurricane Michael and its effect on Mexico Beach, poetry, and photography of the Big Bend by Elizabeth George.

Big Bend Poets and Writers invites the public to Remembering the Forgotten Coast, a fund-raising benefit to assist small business owners in Mexico Beach, who are still struggling to rehabilitate their stores and income lost when the local economy was shattered as Hurricane Michael destroyed over 70% of the town.  The event will be held at Square Mug Café and Coffee Shop, 567 Industrial Drive, Tallahassee in Railroad Square Art Park, from 7 P.M. to 9 P.M. on Tuesday, February 18, 2012.  The
