Rainbow Concert of World Music

Stamp your passport for the 23rd Annual Rainbow Concert of World Music on Saturday, April 6, at 7:30 pm in Opperman Music Hall. This year’s show kicks off with the Sekaa Gong Hanuman Agung Balinese Gamelan, followed by FSU’s brand new Afro-Latin Ensemble under the direction of Mateo Sanchez in their Rainbow Concert debut. The Irish Ensemble and FSU’s all-star intercultural group Omnimusica round out the first half, making way for a journey through the Americas in the second, which features Rock, Andean, Blues, and Old Time Ensembles. The finale will be the iconic Caribbean steel band, Mas N Steel. Tickets are $10 for everyone with the exception of FSU students with ID, which are $5.
