Pornland, How The Porn Industry Has Hijacked Our Sexuality

A documentary by scholar, professor, and author Dr. Gail Dines from Wheelock College, MA. The film examines the commercial American pornography industry, its impact on the culture, men and women’s identity and young people’s sexuality. The film compares the commercialization of sexuality to the commercial food industry as a potential threat to public health. Dr. Dines has been speaking to college students for years on the topic and is considered an international expert on women’s studies and pornography. The film is sponsored by the Women’s Studies Department at FSU and the Strozier Library.
