The historic Kennel Cottage at Pebble Hill Plantation. Known as "Mack's House" for Mr. Mack McQueen who was the long time Kennel Manager at PHP and resided in the cottage until his death in the late 1930s.
The Kennel Cottage at Pebble Hill was the home of longtime Kennel Manager Mr. Mack McQueen. The Cottage will be open to the public for tours as part of the Museum buildings at Pebble Hill.
The pubic is cordially invited to join us for this very special occasion as we mark the opening of the Kennel Cottage, aka Mack’s House. The cottage is typical of residences provided to workers at Pebble Hill from 1901 through the 1970s. It was home to Mack McQueen, longtime kennel manager at Pebble Hill.
