New 76ers return to MusicLand

The New 76ers are an acoustic folk trio from Tallahassee. Their sound comes from a collective respect for acoustic and electric music as well as some interesting vocal collaborations created over years of playing and singing together. As a family band they rely on instinct and years of practice and performance to achieve vocal harmonies that are intuitive and eclectic. Their roots in the culture of Southern music has inspired a style of songwriting that aspires to move the listener both physically and spiritually. The band recently took a year off to regroup and spend time with their family and friends. Danny’s one of a kind instruments, hand built under the Jett Instruments label are works of art sought out by the best musicians. With fewer live performances on their new annual schedule, we at MusicLand feel very fortunate that this dynamic trio will return to our stage. You don’t want to miss this performance.
