The Mickee Faust Club gears up for “Queer as Faust XI” in June

It’s a soggy wet mess outside this spring in Tallahassee, but summer is coming and so is the hotness that is the Mickee Faust Club’s annual “Queer as Faust” festival! The company has several performance events scheduled all leading up to the summer solstice “Queer as Faust XI” cabaret the last two weekends of June.

“We have something to bring out the diva in everyone!” says Susan Gage, one of the producers and co-founders of the annual celebration of LGBTQ+ Pride month at the Mickee Faust Clubhouse.

The grand event of the month is the “Queer as Faust XI” cabaret, slated for Friday and Saturday, June 22-23 and then Thursday through Saturday, June 28-30th in the Adelaide Schnittman Hall (read: air-conditioning!) We’ll keep the house cool but the performances will heat up with lots of original skits, songs and parodies of classics all with a very queer twist. Some of the material might not be suitable for younger audiences. All shows are at 8pm with tickets available at our website(www.mickeefaust.com).
