At 6:30 pm, a special presentation: “Eddy Mumma: The Rescue and Celebration of His Work” by Anne E. Gilroy, the Curator of Galleries at the Historic Thomas Center in Gainesville, Florida. She authored the 2017 catalogue, Mr. Eddy Lives – The Art & Life of Eddy Mumma, the first solo exhibition of Mumma’s work. Gilroy will present on Mumma’s personal story and exceptional work, but also the influential characters who brought Mumma’s work into the public sphere and into illustrious national museum collections.
