Meet & Greet/Book Signing

The historical fiction novel, Southern Crosses, is set in Tallahassee in the 1950s.  The book revolves around civil rights events, including a bus boycott. Toolie, the main character, is biracial and suffers abuse from both sides of the racial spectrum. The talented girl thinks singing will be her ticket out, but fate throws her one curveball after another. When the tragic events surrounding her birth come to light, her life and relationships are changed forever. The author will be on hand to read selected passages from the book and sign copies.
