A young Thurgood Marshall, long before he assumes his role as the first African-American Supreme Court Justice, battles through a career-defining and nation-defining case.
Starring Chadwick Boseman as Thurgood Marshall, the first African-American Supreme Court Justice, and focuses on one of the first cases of his career, the State of Connecticut v. Joseph Spell. Dr. Joshua Butler will facilitate a discussion on the movie and on Thurgood Marshall himself.
