Lunafest Tallahassee 2022: Films By and About Women

LUNAFEST®, the fundraising film festival dedicated to championing women filmmakers and bringing people together in their communities, will be hosted by The Oasis Center for Women & Girls at the Challenger Learning Center in Kleman Plaza on October 7, 2022. Tickets include a pre-screening reception, access to the LUNAFEST film showing, and access to the after party at La Florida. VIP tickets are also available for an elevated viewing experience and perks that can be redeemed from local bars and restaurants such as Poco Vino, Hummingbird Café and Charlie Park. LUNAFEST features a program of short films that empower and inspire. This year’s stories are told from a variety of perspectives that champion women, highlighting their aspirations, accomplishments, resilience, strength, and connection. All proceeds from LUNAFEST will benefit The Oasis Center for Women & Girls. These funds will be used to help provide Girls’ Circles, Single Moms’ Support Groups, Women’s Circles, and many more resources offered by the center. The Oasis Center for Women & Girls was created to be a community resource center for women and girls to come together, dream, achieve, and thrive. LUNAFEST, which is created and funded by LUNA®, has raised more than $6.5 Million for nonprofit organizations, featured 170 women filmmakers, and hosted over 2,700 screenings across the US and Canada.
