Looking Skyward: The Art of Cloudscapes: Artist Workshop

Are you an aspiring amateur artist or even a professional artist? Have an interest in developing a new artistic hobby? Pebble Hill has a workshop for all of the above. Join us for “Looking Skyward: The Art of Cloudscapes” Sunday, November 6th with Thomas University Professor of Art, Richard Curtis. In this workshop, Curtis will lead participants in a study of cloud formations in art. Using well-known examples from Romanticism, as well as paintings from Pebble Hill’s permanent collection, you will be inspired to “look skyward” and appreciate the changing nature of clouds. The second half of the workshop will be filled with hands-on activities, viewing, and drawing cloudscapes with a variety of media. All materials for this workshop will be provided and you do not have to be an artist to participate.
