Lil’ Ed & The Blues Imperials blow in from Chicago on Thursday for a throwdown in the boondocks. These guys blow the roof off the place each time they play and there ain’t no ifs, ands, or buts about it- this is gunna be a another Ed head party in the woods. Lil’ Ed is a two time Blues Music Award winner for Band of the Year and 15 time BMA nominee. Lil’ Ed may be small in stature (5’1″) but he’s a giant in the blues. He is a masterful guitarist who wields a mean slide, wears a wicked smile and sports a fez. High energy to say the least. He’s backed up by an equally raucous 3 piece rhythm section, including his half brother James “Pookie” Young on bass and background vocals, Mike Garrett on guitar & background vocals and Kelly Littleton on drums. These guys have been tearing it up with Lil Ed for more than 30 years. Good! Very good stuff!
