Goodwood’s free lecture series continues with archaeological specialist Lou Hill presenting on our region’s prehistoric ceramics- a great complement to the archaeological component of the exhibit. Bring a lunch or just come and listen.
"Centuries of Settings- From Simple to Sublime" is a new exhibit at Goodwood which tells the story of ceramic use and dining customs through the ages using the museum’s porcelain collection and archaeological artifacts from the region. Goodwood has partnered with the Florida Division of Historical Resources, the Florida Public Archaeology Network, and the Tallahassee Porcelain Arts Guild to present this fabulous exhibit. The Museum’s main entrance is located off Miccosukee Road, just East of Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare. The Museum’s back entrance can be accessed off Surgeons Drive.
