Jazz and Beyond - The Boyce Griffith Quartet

Jazz & Beyond is back! This month we’re excited to present the Boyce Griffith Quartet who will be performing a variety of jazz fusion standards from influences including Herbie Hancock, Robert Glasper, Wayne Shorter, Terence Blanchard and others, along with Boyce’s original compsoitions. Boyce has been making waves and we’re very happy to finally have him perform at the Garages on Gaines.

Over the past four months Jazz & Beyond in collaboration with BDM productions have showcased some of Tallahassee’s most talented & adventurous jazz musicians as well as acts demonstrating the vast influence jazz has had on other forms of music such as hip hop, funk, soul & house. Until now, we’ve been able to offer this to you for free. But now we must ask for a minimum donation of $5 at the gate to ensure the project is self-sustaining and that performers continue to get paid. We hope those who have experienced previous events will continue to come enjoy the music and we hope that you’ll encourage friends to come check it out as well. A lot of exciting things are on the horizon.
