Intuitive Mandalas Meditation

The word mandala is from the classical Indian Sanskrit language, it is loosely translated to mean circle. While it can have many meanings, the mandala is thought to stand for wholeness. Research has shown that creating or coloring mandalas can be meditative and reduce stress.

In this workshop, the facilitator will lead a guided meditation experience and encourage participants to explore their insights further through the process of creating.

Participants will choose from watercolor paints and markers to fill in their mandala with symbols, patterns, designs, or colors.  If the participant wants to extend their images outside the boundary, they are free to do so.  There is no right or wrong way.

Upon finishing, participants will be asked to spend some time reflecting on their creations.  Journal prompts will be provided to help participants explore associations or themes related to their mandalas.
