Is the fight scene your favorite part of the Shakespearean play? Have you ever wanted to learn how the illusion of sword fighting is created on the stage and in film? Then this workshop is for you! Local actor and stage combat choreographer Derek Nieves will lead this 90-minute workshop outdoors in spacious Goodwood Museum & Gardens. Southern Shakespeare Company will provide the practice sword, please wear clothing comfortable to move in and closed toed shoes

The Museum’s main entrance is located off Miccosukee Road, just East of Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare. The Museum’s back entrance can be accessed off Surgeons Drive.
