Indite Titulum: Julie Baroody

TCC art professor Julie Baroody exhibits her latest work in an exhibit titled “Indite Titulum. Nature and experimentation are at the center of artist, Julie Baroody’s work. Using a wide variety of media from pencil and paint to digital photography and multimedia printmaking, her art is an exploration of things seen, imagined and conjured. She sees herself as an observer of the often overlooked and a collector of unexpected beauty. Her work documents the detritus of the everyday. In her work insects, weeds, stains and patterns intermingle to evoke the magic of the world around us. “I explore the mysteries and surprising loveliness of our visual consciousness, while taking an experimental approach to materials.”
