Godby Players High School Drama Department has created a show geared toward middle school students about life during and after the middle years that reinforces the idea that it DOES get better.
The show has scenes about parent and child relationships, suicide prevention, depression, social media responsibility, positive body image, anti-drug and alcohol abuse, anti-violence, acceptance of others and understanding and loving oneself. The subjects are rooted in reality because they are written by our students about their own personal experiences with mental health and their own struggles with finding themselves and understanding their own issues.
