I notice that on Waymarkers the Governor Dan McCarty/Sabal Palmetto State Tree marker is not located . It is on the Adams Street side of the Capitol in the southwest corner right next to the Governor's office.
The state tree is an important Florida symbol and Governor McCarty was an early innovator in modernizing Florida government. History buffs will be interested in this small but significant
