Handpan 360 Concert & Workshop 2 Day Event

Restorative Sound World Music Concert: March 8th Friday 7:30-9pm
During this performance, we will explore the connection between listening and playing, between the audience and the “performer”, and between intention and harmony. I will have Handpans and other musical treats from around the world. We invite to come and get cozy for a beautiful evening of deep listening and community reflection.

Handpan360 Workshop:  March 9th Saturday 10:30-1:30pm
No musical experience is required to play these instruments. They are designed so that anyone can sit down and begin making beautiful sounds. During this workshop we will learn how to touch the instrument with the least amount of effort to get a fluid and dynamic sound. We will also cover some melodic, harmonic, and rhythmic fundamentals. My goal is to save you time on this journey, so you can enjoy the music as fully as possible. Most importantly we will learn more deeply how to listen, breathe, and play lots of music together. Instruments will be provided and available for purchase during the event.

About Handpan360: 
Handpan 360, founded in 2016 by Peter Levitov, is devoted to sharing the transformational power of this new instrument with the world. The Handpan, invented in 2000, has a sound unlike anything else in the world, almost like a mix between a harp, piano, and tabla. The simple layout and intuitive scales makes it possible for anyone to play and compose with ease. We believe this instrument has a deep well of wisdom available to all who come to quench their thirst. The simple joy of playing, direct experience of harmony, and the ability to express ourselves non-verbally, brings healing and a sense of wholeness.
