Graphic Novel Workshop

Growing up in Virginia, then moving to Orlando for work, Jake Deibler has drawn cartoons and written funny stories since he could hold a crayon. With a degree in commercial arts, he built his company, Rent-a-Hero Studios LLC, where he supplies designs for products to local vendors and illustrations for children’s books. His work can be found at Disney, Universal Studios, Hard Rock Cafe, Margaritaville, Six Flags, Bush Gardens, Sea World, Golden Nugget Casino, and many published books, themed resorts, and other venues. Deibler is the author of Eramore: Forget the Trails, a comic strip collection about a knight and his squire and their misadventures to save the kingdom of Eramore from Lord Magnus. He also wrote Rent-a-Hero: Light at the End.

Eramore is the result of studying and practicing creative writing and sequential art (the art of the comic strip) for more than 15 years. Deibler believes that writing for juvenile and young adolescents is a responsibility to teach values and enrich lives with lasting moral impressions. Although written for younger audiences, readers of all ages have found humor in the cartoon and something to take away with them.
