Grand Tour Wine Tasting - Explore Europe through its wines!

Step into a world of elegance and refinement as we invite you to join us for an unforgettable evening of wine tasting inspired by the iconic Grand Tour of Europe.

The Grand Tour was a journey undertaken by Europe’s aristocratic and wealthy citizens (typically men) through the continent, typically through France and Italy, as well as Germany, Netherlands, Sweden, and Denmark; these grand tourists would experience visual arts, architecture, fashion, dancing, and the rich cultures of the countries they visited.

The Grand Tour has traces throughout Goodwood’s history as well, with Senator and Margaret Hodges following a similar tour path through Europe after the turn of the century.

While The Grand Tour is a ritual of the past, the flavours of Europe are returning to Goodwood for a wine tasting on September 8.

Immerse yourself in the flavours of European wines, while mingling in the historic setting of Goodwood’s Main House museum.

A wine expert from Hummingbird Wine Bar will be present to share the intricacies and histories of the various presented wines.

Wines can be purchased after the tasting.

Light hors d’oeuvres will be available.
