The Joe Center for the Arts presents “Glass With Class,” an invitational exhibition featuring the works of eight glass artists. It opens Friday, May 12th with a reception from 6:00-8:00pm ET and runs through Friday, June 9.

Prepare to be delighted and bedazzled as The Joe Center for the Arts becomes a proverbial house of glass! Our “Glass With Class” invitational exhibition featuring the works of eight glass artists opens Friday, May 12th with a reception from 6:00-8:00pm ET and runs through Friday, June 9th. Decorative and functional pieces in all forms, colors and sizes make up this show, crafted by area artisans using hot, warm and cold processes in their studios.

Show runs from May 12 - June 9. Gallery Hours are Wednesday-Friday from 11am - 6pm and

Saturday from 11am-3pm. Opening Reception on Friday, May 12 from 6-8pm Eastern time.

“For the Love of Glass Art”, a presentation by Dr. Marlene East at The Joe on Tuesday, May 23rd from 6:00-8:00 will explain all about her fusing process.

And if you’re curious about stained glass art, Richard Matela will show you the steps to crafting an art piece on Friday, June 2nd during the First Friday Sip & Shop from 5:00-7:00.
