Gadsden Arts Center and Museum's Fall Docent Class

Are you interested in learning about art and sharing insights and discoveries with others? Leading interactive tours to talk about art is fun and educational for everyone! Join us for the Gadsden Arts Center and Museum’s fall docent class. Our docents are specially trained guides who lead visitors through current art exhibitions to talk about various aspects of the art including related history, artist biographies, style and expression of the work, meanings, and more. This class will be for new and returning docents and will review tour planning and touring techniques to create engaging experiences for everyone at the museum. The class will teach you about how people learn and cover specific topics related to upcoming exhibitions.
